Curatorial Statement:
Gardens of Enchantment brings together over twenty visionary contemporary artists whose works explore the landscape not as a backdrop, but as a spellbound world unto itself—alive with narrative, symbol, and the possibility of transformation. Curated by Jessica Libor, this exhibition traces the borderlands between the natural and the surreal, the remembered and the mythic.
From overgrown dreamscapes and ethereal florals to myth-infused vistas and psychological terrains, the works in this exhibition conjure enchanted environments—spaces where reality bends, time slips, and the unseen is made visible. These are not passive portrayals of nature, but active thresholds, charged with personal mythology and archetypal energy.
Featuring artists such as Carla Youbi, whose haunting botanicals seem to whisper ancient spells; Emma Hapner, whose delicate scenes glow with inner worlds; and Kristy Gordon, whose lush compositions blend classical finesse with contemporary depth—Gardens of Enchantment invites viewers into realms of layered beauty, quiet mystery, and emotional resonance.
Whether through painting, drawing, or mixed media, each artist cultivates their own visual Eden—a place where the subconscious can bloom. The garden becomes a metaphor for interior growth, feminine power, spiritual memory, and the return to something both wild and sacred.
As presented both online and in person at the Hamptons Fine Art Fair in booth 119, this exhibition bridges digital and physical space, offering collectors and viewers the opportunity to enter these otherworldly gardens—no matter where they are.
In a world that often feels fractured, these gardens offer a path back—toward magic, meaning, and a more enchanted view of reality.
