Amalgamation by Madelaine Louise Dillon

$800.00

Amalgamation by Madelaine Louise Dillon is a 15×7×15” mixed media and stoneware sculpture.

In the words of the artist:

Before I started college I danced for 10 years. This piece was my way of saying goodbye to the art form and coping with the loss. In the vessels I threw, I incorporated my point shoes, audition numbers, programs, and tickets to my shows. Amalgamation captures a specific time in every dancers life, when they depart. I struggled to discard my precious artifacts from dance, and so this piece became a commemoration and secret home for my memories to live within.

Domestic shipping included in the price of the work.
