A Fish out of Water by Anita Eralie Schley
A Fish Out of Water by Anita Eralie Schley is a mixed media on mounted sealed treated Paper (Oil, graphite) , 11×14” painting that is framed.
Domestic shipping is included.
In the words of the artist:
“Have you ever felt that there was something wrong with you? You don’t fit in. You’re the black sheep. You try and try to mold yourself into ideals that you don’t understand. Fake it until you make it. Nothing works, not really. And then… something happens. Maybe you meet a likeminded person. Maybe you learn some new insight that causes a shift. But most importantly, you realize there was never anything wrong with you. You just weren’t where you belong (whether that’s mentally, physically, or emotionally.) Using the Sea to symbolize a place of belonging the painting shows a mermaid pulling herself through the forest and discovers the ocean for the first time.”
